Olivia's from SSR

We will be staying at the Tree house Villas in June. We have late breakfast reservations at Olivias. What is best way to get there? Can we take the boat?

I don't think the boat stops between resorts, but there is a bus that goes between OKW, SSR and sometimes PO.

During the daytime, you can walk from the SSR Treehouse Villas to OKW using a walkway along a canal. It's a nice walk if the weather is good, but it's not a short walk if you walk all the way to Olivia's near the front of OKW.

There isn't a bus that goes between OKW, SSR, and PO, unless you're thinking about the ME bus (and even then, there aren't set routes for ME). And I'm pretty sure that OKW and SSR don't share a bus to the parks since both resorts have multiple bus stops, so there wouldn't be a bus that stops at both SSR and OKW.

According to http://allears.net/acc/faq_treehouse.htm, the boat goes from the dock at the Treehouse Villas to SSR to DTD, so you would have to switch boats to then go to OKW. I think the best choice in this case would be a taxi.

Taxi is our back up plan. I was hoping for boat since we would be by the boat dock at the thv's. Even if we had to go to dtd first. Especially since late breakfast. But some things online say the boats start at 10 and some at 11. Plus they say they run every hour? So don't know if we could make it.

We walked to Olivia's from SSR in March and it took about 25 minutes or so. It was a nice walk.

It's been a few years, but the Downtown Disney boat used to go to SSR and OKW. I don't know how early the boats run.

The boats at OKW usually start at 11:00. If you decide you would like to try to walk, the walking trail should enter OKW at the South Point section of the resort. If you are tired, you can always hop on the first bus you see. All of the buses at OKW end up at the Hospitality House area before they depart the resort to their destination. It is actually a very nice walk, though.

At one time OKW and SSR did share a boat. This was in the early days of SSR, before many buildings were open. The boat would leave OKW, stop at SSR and continue to the dock near Captain Jack's and do the reverse on the return trip. It was very convenient. I think a taxi would be a great idea if you decide against walking.

First boat from TH to DTD should leave around 10 a.m., and the 1st from DTD to OKW should leave around 10:30, so your travel time would be close to an hour.

Have you looked at maps of the area? OKW and SSR are on the same road. The entrance to OKW is first, then the treehouses then the main SSR. Basically drive out to the road, make a left, another left almost immediately and you're at the OKW guard house. A taxi would take you 5 minutes, the boat at least an hour and like you said, chance of missing it.

If you don't have a car, take a taxi.
