There have been many questions about using old tickets, exhanging them for new passes and the thought of just keeping them as nice souviniers. Herein lies our story. Last year on 9/11/02 we turned in two tickets circa 1985 or 1986. They were 3 day passes with 2 days already used. We asked if we could trade them for a pass to the MK. The guy at the ticket counter said "No, you have to trade them for a 3 day Park Hopper Pass with 2 days aleady used." We then asked if we could keep our tickets for souvineirs and he said No, but he would attach a note asking that they be returned to our address. We got our 1 day Park Hopper Pass and visited MK and MGM having a ball. We waited for months and never got our old tickets though. We then forgot about them as old folks do. We then opened our mailbox last week and found an envelope from WDW with our old tickets inside. Almost 10 months to the day but there they were. Mickey came through again. They will look great in my wife's scrapbook of that trip.
Oh yeah, in case you are wondering why we were there for one day. We were killing some time before boarding the Magic for our Western cruise.
Just wanted to share a good experiance.
