I see you are from " Farmland South of Detroit"!! I grew up in Carleton, we got our first stop light when I was in high school and kids would drive their tractors to school on the last day :-) My brother & I both played hockey growing up so I know about the cost!!!!

Awesome! I just sent you a PM! :)

Five Sundays from now, we'll be at the Beach Club! Seems like a good excuse for some emoticons! :cool1: :goodvibes :thumbsup2

I have a question for Teena !

Do someone speak french at the front desk ? :confused3

I speak a little english and i'm afraid to not understand :)

Howdy all! I am surprising my mom with a short WDW vacation before a 7-day Fantasy cruise and have reserved two nights at the BC - Club Level. We've stayed at the BC before and loved it!!! So I thought I would surprise her with Club Level this time.

My question is... to Garden View or Water View... that is the question!

For those of you who have experienced one or the other - what would you suggest?? Is there a big difference? If I wanted to be near the club lounge - would that make a difference in what view I should book??

It's only for 2 nights - but since we are sailing on the Fantasy - I wanted to start our vacation out right....

This will be a relaxing, slow-paced two days - so we won't be rushing through the parks.

Thanks for any advice!

Michelle

:welcome:

If you would like to be added to the Be Our Guest list on Page 1, let me know your dates. Nov/Dec?

As to your view question- this is a hard question to answer since it is based on personal preferences.

I am someone who always books Standard View. Although a balcony is very important to me, for a place to go early in the morning with coffee and a book, I don't really care what I am looking at.

10 days!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We've decided not to do online check-in. We did it last time and it was fine, but we thought we'd try something different this time. We booked with a pin discount, standard room, then found that the garden room with the website discount was cheaper, so we switched (standard wasn't available). I've only ever booked standard as the view is not a big deal to me. I think we opened the curtain one time when we were there last time. Still, it will be interesting to see what the difference is.

We will be arriving on the 27th in the evening. I'm not sure how the noodle exchange works, but if there are any available, we'd love to get in on it!

I checked the official Noodle Swap list for your dates, and they are already spoken for.

What are the chances of getting two studios (at BCV) with balconies next to eachother?

Slim. Since the BCV are always 99-100% occupied, you'd have to have two studios next to each other being vacated the exact same day.

We have a few CMs that speak french but there is no way of knowing if they will be there when you are there. However, we have an interpreter 24 hours a day via telephone for any language. So if you come to the desk, ask if anyone speaks french. If they say no, then ask to be connected to the french interpreter via the telephone. You'll talk to the interpreter on the phone and tell them what you want, and then the interpreter talks to the CM. I had to use them yesterday for someone from Viet Nam.

I know that the food/drink area of Beach Club Marketplace doesn't open until 7:00. However, the coffee area is open & serving prior to 7:00. I made my coffee (in a disposable cup, as I didn't have a refillable mug), and waitied until 7:00 when they opened to bring it up to the register to pay- I did this on a few different days. On my last day, the CM at the register told me that coffee was complimentary prior to 7:00am. I thanked her and left...but was left wondering why was I waiting around the previous days until they opened a register, so I could pay? It seems odd (but awesome!) that it would be complimentary prior to 7:00. At CSR, I always hated how there was not coffee to be had before 7:00 (and even then, they usually opened up at 7:05 or 7:10!), but at the marketplace, the coffee area was always open early. What's been your experience w/ the coffee service in the early morning?

I was told the same thing at the end of May. I too waited until 7:00 on the first morning of our stay but was then told that it was complimentary prior to 7:00. This was really nice since I am a VERY early morning person, and NEED my coffee way before 7:00!!!!

Hey Dee! Our dates changed a bit. We are now at the BC from 8/22-8/28. The airfare was $600 cheaper if we went mid week to mid week so I had to do it!!

Thanks and really enjoyng your TR!

And boohoo I'm still going to miss you!!

That's really interesting info to know! I am also curious about what others have found with early morning coffee accessibility. Very interested!!!

For several years, complimentary coffee has been available from 6:30 to 7am. The Marketplace is still officially closed then but the entrance across from BCV is open with a roped off area leading to the coffee service. Very, very nice.

sabina720, as far as I know there are no studios next to each other. In general it is studio/oneBR/studio/one BR or it can be a 2 BR dedicated. However, all studios do have a balcony or patio.

MickeyT, congrats on the wedding and have a blast!!!

Thanks for the kind words about the trip report. I added a new installment this morning.

OK Folks,
For all of you there now, or just returned, or headed there soon, WHAT is the situation with the toiletries? What kind did you have? And for anyone there now, how about cornering someone from Mousekeeping and asking them if a change is in the works??

Can you tell I am an H2O freak?

Thanks!
Linda:)

Here now at BC-CL. We have H2O products.
