Old Popcorn Buckets

For our upcoming October trip, my daughter really wants to use her Mickey Pumpkin popcorn bucket from a couple years ago.

If we brought that into the park and then bought whatever the current bucket is, I assume there wouldn't be an issue buying refills in the current bucket and then pouring the popcorn into the Mickey Pumpkin bucket.

Why would there be an issue dumping popcorn into whatever else you wanted to carry the popcorn?
