Old Park Passes (Including River Country)

Hello, I have 17 (yes, 17) old passes with a variety of options on them. One is a totally unused, 10 day, non expiring with 5 "pluses" and another partially used with 7 park days and 4 "pluses".

Then I have a bunch of misc passes: some with 1 day of major parks, others with 1-2 days of "pluses". Then I also have two passes with just one day of Disneyquest and three passes just for River Country.

At this point I have no idea who used what. With five in our family, I can only guess.

I know I can still use them, but when they are transferred, do I get to retain the non expiring? Do they still
allow you to transfer passes with only "pluses" left?

Isn't Disneyquest closing? What might happen to those passes and the ones for River Country? Any possibility they can be transferred to something else?

I can't imagine we will plan a trip for at least 1-2 years.

One more question....my mom also has old passes for both her and my dad. My dad recently passes away. Do you think they would allow my mom to use his passes, if she ever goes again?

What I would suggest is taking all these to guest relations at one of the theme parks, if you can get to one. The major park passes and pluses I'm sure they will put on new ticket media for you and let you keep the non-expiration, and then you can assign who you want to use what from this point forward. The only real question would be the River Country passes. I'm willing to bet that they will give you tickets to one of the other water parks, but that maybe at the discretion of the person helping you.

I have 6 tickets from 2006-2007 that have plus days left on non-expiring tickets, and I don't know which person in my family each of them belongs to. When we were at WDW earlier this year, I took them with me and sat down with someone in guest services to ask this exact kind of questions. She was able to look up each of the tickets and tell me exactly how many plus options were left on each of them (I have three with 4 plusses and 3 with 3 plusses). She told me that I can still use them whenever I want, and that when the time comes and we want to do that, just bring them to guest services and they will enter them into my MDE account, and AT THAT POINT I can assign them to whichever person on my accout that I want to assign them to, because at this point, I don't know who used each of the tickets, and at that point, kids didn't have to finger scan (heck, I'm not sure that we even did), but that we don't need to do anything at all with them until we are ready to use the days.
