Old Navy is the BEST!!

I just went to return 2 shirts that I purchased 2 weeks ago at Old Navy.
I handed them my original receipt which had a ton of other stuff on it.
Not only did I get my money back for the stuff that I was returning, but they scan your entire receipt and you get a price adjustment on everything you originally bought! Instead of getting back my $20.00 that I expected, I got back $35.00!!.
Now thats cool!

Wow! That IS amazing! I am heading off to Old Navy tomorrow to return a pair of pants that were too small for my son. We'll see what happens with all the other items that were on the receipt! Hoping for a price adjustment for me too!

It's not uncommon for Philly-area stores to make a price adjustment when you bring in your receipt. Strawbridge's did it all the time. I would shop before Clover Day for the best selection and then go back on Clover Day with just the receipt for the adjustment. I think that they would rather do that than have you return all your purchases and re-purchase them at the sale price. But I don't remember whether they did it for post-Christmas sales. Nice to see that ON does. Makes me want to dig up a few receipts.

Well, it didn't work for me! Brought my original receipt with the pair of pants I was returning and just got the $15 back. I had many other items on there so either they didn't go on sale since I bought them a few weeks ago or they just don't do a price adjustment at all Old Navy's. Oh well. I still love Old Navy!

That's cool! I wonder if the cashier did something special to make it check all the other items.

I do know that Gap (part of the same company) will do price adjustments up to 14 days later. Just bring in your receipt and they can check to see if anything has gone down. I just bought a coat for DS for next year in the hopes that the price will drop in the next couple weeks (it was the last one).

Hi! I did the same thing last night!!! I bought some shirts for my DH last month and gave them to him for Christmas. I knew they did price adjustments (but only within 14 days). So, I brought all the shirts with me and the reciept and asked if they had gone on sale. She checked each one, and gave the adjustment anyway (instead of returning all the shirts and me buying them all back ). $50.00 savings!!!! It is Old Navy policy-so they will do it at all the stores. Most will not do it unless you ask for it, though.

It's not a cake walk at all Old Navy's. I had went shopping in Novemeber the 2 days before Veteran's Day. I bought something like 20 items. I then went back on Veteran's Day and noticed that over 1/2 the items were now on sale for a considerable amount. I went home got the items--- which were still in the bag. I wanted to either get them price adjusted- or return and repurchase them at the new lower price. They refused. They were willing to price adjust maybe 1/4 of what should of been done. They said if I returned they wouldn't restock the items now- so I may not get the sizes/colors I wanted. I was sooooo mad. I really wanted to return the whole order, but it took so long trying on clothing to get those items. I ended up keeping them. I haven't shopped there again.

We love Old Navy... we especially love shopping at the Old Nay outlet store in the Lake Buena Vista Outlets when we go to Disney!

I bought a pair of jeans there and wore them a couple of times and they were too big - I even washed them a couple of times and they still didn't fit right. My wife took them back and explained that they didn't fit right and they gladly allowed us to exchange them for a smaller size. Great store... love 'em!
