For my summer camp class, the theme is wild animals..i dont want to use cartoony type pictures since my kids are older and i think they would like seeing hte "actual" animals...
Anyone know where i can get some old ones? No one in my family has them and no one at work does--i checked yesterday!

The only thing I can think of is possibly checking ebay or Amazon.com to see if anyone is selling old ones. That is possible.

Or check with your local library to see if they have old ones they're willing to part with or they might have other suggestions.

Flea markets and yard sales are probably a good place to check also.

We had years worth that we had trouble unloading. I can't remember what we did with them. We couldn't sell them, so we ended up donating them, I think. They have a National Geographic disk and you can print pictures from there.

I recycled all my old ones except the ones from 1940-1945. Those I kept for the WWII stuff...

My local library sells them for 10 cents. Before we got a subscription, my daughter would go there when she needed pictures to cut out for a school project.

Yup - try the library.. If they don't have them, you can usually find them in garage sales; rummage sales; thrift stores; The Salvation Army; flea markets; etc..

I used to have tons of them (I would pick them up in garage sales because I liked to read them) but unfortunately I got rid of them when I sold my house - otherwise I would have sent you a bunch via Media Mail..

Thanks everyone--guess ill start tracking some down :)

if anyone has any with animal pictures they would like to get rid of , please PM me!
