Hello. For my trip next month I want to use my magic bands from last year. Does my ticket automatically link in MDE or do I have to link it? If so how? Thanks so much!

If your magic band is already linked to your MDE account, when the new tickets are added to your MDE account, they will "link" with your magic band.

Remember, NOTHING links directly to your Magic Band.

Magic Bands are merely access keys to your MDE account. ALL information is stored in your MDE account, including, Tickets, FP+, ADRs, resort room reservations, etc..

Just as you can have multiple keys to your front door, any of which can be used interchangeably, any Magic Band associated with your MDE profile can be used to access all data on your MDE account.

You do want to be sure to not use too old of a MB as the battery for the RFID wears out after about 2 years so it won't pick you up for ride photos. It will work for tapping in at parks, FPs, or purchasing, but not for anything that occurs at a distance. If yours is only a year old, it should be fine.
