Old Key West room request query

Hello. We are staying on a cash booking in a one bed villa at OKW in early August. I am thinking I will place my two room requests as Millers Road area and dual entrance bathroom. If I have researched properly this could only be buildings 62, 63 or 64. My question is this. If these are disability enabled buildings does this mean the spa bath and shower are disabled specialist and different to the ones I have seen on line? If this is the case I will choose some different requests. Thanks

like okw in general think some are and some aren't

that say if you really want the dual entrance bathroom - pick other building - the ones over 30 - because 62, 63, and 64 are the MOST requested building at OKW.

besides not sure about paying cash - but members can only request online and thru MS.

I can make requests through on line check in and I've had a look at the choices offered. Thanks for the reply. Didn't realise they were such popular buildings!

there are only 3 building that have an elevator out of 49 buildings.

You know Miller's Road doesn't have the door through the laundry room, right? Except for the buildings reserved for medical needs.

Well based on the above I changed my mind and requested Old Turtle Pond area, upper floor. I thought the snack bar by the quiet pool would appeal to the kids. But yes I knew that. I had deducted by asking for a dual bathroom entrance at Millers Road I was effectively asking for buildings 62-64 only in this area, hence my question about the disability facilities in the bathrooms. That was the point.

One more thing. The Turtle Shack is only open seasonally (should be open in August), but might not be open late or early.

As an OKW member for a very long time, Turtle Pond area is one of our faves!

All of the H/A villas I have had did have the regular jetted tub in the master. I had a roll in shower. I think there are added grab bars if a tub is requested.
