Old Key West Refurb question

After our stay on a friends points March 14-19 DH saw the value and said go ahead....Got home on Sunday and buy Wednesday we had contacted our Guide and now just waiting for the paperwork. We decided to go directly through Disney with the 09 points and the fact that it happens so quickly were the deciding factor in Disney over re-sale market. Not quite ready to have to wait 30 plus days to get it all done. Can't wait to make our first ressies as DVC members!

WOW that is great, I think I like the location of 45 and 46 I am calling to request that thanks again!

I don't have photos, but bldg 55 also has nice canal views, not quite as nice as 45 & 46, but still a great location.

I requested 45 or 46 canal view is there anything else I should know, we will be spending A LOT of time on the balcony coffee in the a.m. and wine in the p.m. and maybe a book late afternoon! No kids no hubby what will I do

What does M. A. (buildings outlined in red) stand for in your legend on the map of OKW? I assume that Grand Villa means those are the only buildings that have the Grand Villa rooms. Thanks for a very informative map of OKW!

I didn't design the map, I honestly don't know who did, I just know where to copy and paste it.

I think you are referring to HA, not MA. Those buildings have some handicap modified units on the first floor...meaning most of those studios will have roll-in showers and no tub, lower counters and less under cabinet storage.

Thank you I am even more excited now! They asked me what preferences I had (we are getted dedicated 2 bedroom) for location and I had no idea so I just told them relaxing away from it all (we will have a car) and probably a golf course view because it seemed relaxing. What views are the buildings Southpoint 45 and 46 I may call back and request them!

Those are my two favorite buildings! LOVE that area!

I love the dining room chairs! Those are so cute. The table and headboard are pretty nice too. Still not a huge fan of the bedding, but that is a ton better than the old OKW rooms.

That's debateable. I don't care for the bedding OR the headboard. They don't really look like they fit the theme as well as the old ones. I'm glad they at least stuck to the Key West color scheme though. Not loving the sleeper chair either. I was hoping they would at least make it look like it fit the theme, but it just looks like a big brown lump!

The chairs seem to be the old ones recovered and painted.
