How easy or difficult is it to get from a room to the Hospitality Center. Does it make life easier if you have a rental car or can you rely on the buses? I am debating to rent a car for our trip on Marathon weekend. I do not know what villa we will get, but I'm sure I will not be walking distance to the Hospitality Center. I would appreciate any input.

If you are in HH section it is close. If other sections it can be far but walkable and you can get on park buses as they stop at HH last.

We have stayed at the end of Turtle Pond a number of times and I personally never thought it a bad walk to the Hospitality House area. I don’t think I have ever taken the bus to the Hospitality House, but if walking there is an issue, there are plenty of busses to the various parks to hop on and off of. Is getting to the Hospitality House your sole reason for thinking of renting a car? We usually have a car, but mainly rely on the bus to reach the parks. We tend to drive when going to a restaurant at another resort, a waterpark, and occasionally to Disney Springs.

If you are running during Marathon weekend, be aware that the buses to Epcot for runners do not go through the resort and you must get to the HH from wherever you are staying at OKW. The runners' bus only departs from the HH. During regular times when the theme park buses are running, you can catch any bus and get off at the HH since that is the last stop. But for the marathon, those don't start running until after the marathon starts. If you are at the farthest location at OKW, you are probably about ten minutes walking to the HH. You won't want to drive your rental car to the HH since there is very little parking there, other than check in/check out 30 minute parking, CM/official Disney parking. And people overflow from 11-14 to park there occasionally, especially if guests heading to the HH are parking in the 11-14 parking spaces.
