Old Key West Pool Refurbishment

Hi

First time post, and whilst I have been to Disney many times, this is my first time on resort.

I am off to OKW in late August- I read that the pool is closed May and June for refurbishment.

I take it there is no issue with it being open by late August?

Assume it is quite a major refurbishment if they are closing it for an entire 2 months- does anyone know what is going on with it (searched but can find no info)?

Also I heard that they are refurbishing some elements of the rooms this year (Tripadvisor reviews keep saying 'I was told they are refurbishing'). I saw a while back they were meant to be doing the bathrooms.

Does anyone have any info on any of this? Most appreciated.

Can you tell me where you read about the refurbishment? On Allears.net it says the pool will be closed 1/4/16 - 1/6/16. We are booked for June so I am hoping this is not the case.

Sorry my bad. I thought it was saying it was closed April to June, but have now realised the date is in the American order (month/ day) rather than how the rest of the world do it (day/ month). Being a regular visitor to US I should have twigged. Guess not a major refurb then! Anyone have any news on the bathrooms (this is coming from people who have posted reviews on trupsdvisor saying they were informed there would be some refurbs).
