Old Key West Pool Refurbishment

Hi

First time post, and whilst I have been to Disney many times, this is my first time on resort.

I am off to OKW in late August- I read that the pool is closed May and June for refurbishment.

I take it there is no issue with it being open by late August?

Assume it is quite a major refurbishment if they are closing it for an entire 2 months- does anyone know what is going on with it (searched but can find no info)?

Also I heard that they are refurbishing some elements of the rooms this year (Tripadvisor reviews keep saying 'I was told they are refurbishing'). I saw a while back they were meant to be doing the bathrooms.

Does anyone have any info on any of this? Most appreciated.
