Ok, I almost couldn't find our thread. The title changed and I was lost!!! But I found it now.

Its getting closer!

Marci: have a wonderful trip! Does Deb or someone have your email so we can send direct to your crackberry? I'm sure there won't be anything startling but just in case we need your opinion on, say, blonde or brunette waiter, we want to be able to get a hold of you!

Wasn't Deb in for Tony and Tina too? Am I the only one not going to Madame Tussauds? if so add me too

Yes, deb has my email and cell phone. Shoot me either and I'll be on alert to help out with the waiters. I do know my waiters, ask Deb. :lmao:

Cheryl ~ Glad you decided to do Madame Tussauds with us. I'll add you. Gotta get that pic on the bed next to Hef after all. :thumbsup2 And I added Deb to T&T's wedding. Thanks.

Oh, and I see we are close to 250. I think I'll wait until we reach it before I start a new one. We may or may not get there before the trip depending on how chatty everyone is. And even if we are a few pages over, I think it will be fine. Then when we come back I can start a shiny new thread to start planning the next trip. :rolleyes1 ;) :rotfl:

Stacie ~ sorry for messing ya up with the title change. I was bored. ;)

Wendy ~ I am super excited too. Everyone I hope you are all taking your vitamins and getting rest when you can. We don't want anyone getting sick just before the trip. :wizard:

So speaking of waiters, where do y'all think you might want to eat the day we do the outlet/Town Square shopping?

Here is a list of the places to eat at Town Square:

I love CPK and am always up for a meal there.

Claim Jumper is really good for comfort food.

Brio was nice, kind of fancy.

Tommy Bahamas was really fun and had good food. When I was there with Amy and Jane, we were saying how it makes you totally feel like you are away on some island.

Yard House sounds good, although I've not been to that one.

The only place I am begging you please not to pick is the Japanese place. I do not eat Japanese food. :sad2: Other than that I am happy with whatever y'all want. :goodvibes

Id be up for Tommy Bahamas. I would rather eat someplace that we don't have down here or that I haven't been too.. Ive done CPK and Claim Jumper. I haven't done Yard house though. But we have a few down here. You know me though. I will go with the flow.

I think Tommy Bahamas seems the most interesting, so I vote that too.

Tommy Bahamas sounds good to me.

I have Marcies email & cell number.

I'm good with whatever - we don't have any of those here, so it's all good :thumbsup2

Well, so far it appears Tommy Bahamas it is. That would be a nice place for lunch, especially if some of you don't have anything like that near you.
Here is a link to their menu if anyone wants a sneak peek. http://www.tommybahama.com/media/TB001/images/static/pdf/menus/Town_Square_Las_Vegas_AllDay.pdf

Last time we were there I had the:
ABOVE THE BORDER QUESADILLA
Marinated grilled chicken mixed with spiced Monterey jack cheese, chopped fresh cilantro, scallions, chipotle aioli, roasted garlic puree and spices. Topped with an avocado crème fraiche and a fresh tomato salsa.

It was really good.

Their desserts are good too. Jane's DH has a favorite.....if I recall correctly, it's the:
PINA COLADA CAKE
Moist vanilla layer cake with Myers Dark Rum and chopped pineapple, covered with white chocolate mousse and toasted coconut.

Yum.

The Barbados Brownie? Yeah, that one caught my eye too. I love brownies of any sort. (drool)

Everything looks good to me - I'm hungry!!!

My order from Torrid is here!!! Woo hoo! The bummer is the postman did not bring it to the door, he left a card in the mailbox and I just checked the mail now - no car to go pick it up :sad2: So now I have to wait until tomorrow - torture!!! Oh well, my new medical terminology book and Quick Look Drug Book are here - yipee :rolleyes1 That they deliver :confused3

Bummer. I was going to run to Torrid today, but ran out of time. I did pop into Ross and got a cute little sun dress.

I can't wait to see everyone's cute clothes!! Maybe I'll be inspired to get out of my jeans and tees. lol

Night ladies.

Beth--live on the wild side and have something more exotic than a quesadilla! Sigh--they used to have a grouper sandwich that was yummy--now it's "white fish"--i.e., whatever's on sale!

LOl--the pina colada cake sounds yummy too--although Stacerita won't eat it because of the pineapple (I'll have hers--yumyumyum rum!)

Oooh, I'm serious - I have to not eat any more until Vegas or I won't be able to fly back home!! Everywhere we're going looks so good - and there are some yummy desserts and stuff too........ What's a girl to do :rolleyes1

What is everyone keeping in the room for breakfasts?? I have no idea........
