Well my boyfriend is golfing today.. then we might drive to new mexico for lunch and come back for a swim before going to my parents for dinner. My mom is making tacos! YuMMy!

Beth.. i posted the list of Vegas Songs I collected on Your Facebook page. I didn't know you were making a vegas cd too. So if our songs are different we could each make one. Or if they are the same we can split the number to make? Or if you were just making one for the condo, I'll make the rest. Just let me know. We can figure it out together.
When i posted the list on your facebook it said something like you had to edit it.

didn't your Mom just make tacos last week? I want tacos!!!!! What does she put in her tacos?

DebbbieLouWho... yesssss... i live like maybe 15 minutes from new mexico... we drive up there alot for lunch or maragaritas at this kewl little restruant called the Double Eagle..

It looks fancy but it's really laid back in away only new mexico can be.

But we love their award winning magaritas..they are so wonderful!
They also have a funky cabo wabo magarita that has a piece of real turqouise in the bottom of it. But the award winning is the best.

Mesilla is a very old little town..and often they have music in the square..they have a candy store and a really good bookstore that you find all kind of treasures in.
I have always wanted to have a shop in one of the old pueblos and put my paintings, hoodies and other art in it. So i'm creating things and putting them away and perhaps one day when the economy picks back up i will open my own shop.
When DH and I retire we want to move to new mexico and build a house with my parents. We four drive up to ruidosa all the time and dream about it together.

CheryL... my mom is kitchenly challenged.. she can make... tacos and fried chicken....that's it. But she makes those two things really good. Very simple and very basic. Mama's tacos are always good.. whether they are my mama, your mama or stacie's mama! I like how my mom always cuts up her lettuce, tomatoes and onions then mixes them together with a little lime, salt and pepper then let's it sit for an hour. It makes the flavors so ripe. I always fry the corn tortillas because some people like them crunchy, other's crispy and then some soft.
Cullen will come over too so it should be a good time.

So... Just to get it straight...
Stacielee is making an 80's mix cd.
I'm making a Vegas themed cd.
And Beth is making a stripper cd for the condo!
Great, then friday night we can see the results of the stripper class ya'll took to Beth's cd after everyone has had a drink or two!

We decided to go to new mexico tomorrow and take my mom and dad. So i've been cleaning out drawers. Putting away winter clothes and bringing out summer clothes. Ugh.

And i'm having the biggest craving for buttery chocolate chip cookies and soft chewey oatmeal raisin cookies. I've never been good at making cookies.. only the sugar cookie roll out ones that you handpaint the butter creme frosting on.

hhmmm.. maybe i need to make some of those for the room in vegas.

I like that we'll have a wide variety to listen to. Mine is just for the condo, I'm not making copies of it. I doubt anyone will like my music.

That's neat you are so close to NM! And I love tacos. I could eat them daily and never grow tired of them. Oh, but since my teeth got messed up, I can only eat the soft tacos. Still good though.
Have you ever been to the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock?

GOOD NEWS! I have all the letters now for the Stripper 101 class.

Cheryl, yours came in the mail today, and Amy was in the neighborhood and we met up for a minute so she could drop it off to me. (I swear that girl is melting away!!!! Every freakin time I see her she looks skinnier and skinnier.)

Ruben said tomorrow we can go down to the Strip to Planet Hollywood and get the tickets. Wish me luck that the deal is still on, and they have the date and time we want!!!

Im exhausted. James and I went to the drive in last night, saw Night at the Museum and Wolverine. Both good movies. Hugh Jackman is a hottie!!!! We ended up seeing the first movie replay again so we got home really late. ANd I am just dragging now.

Nope, not bored. The first movie was the Museum, and it was funny and cute. Then made the potty break during intermission. Yuck! Nasty bathroom with signs reminding me (in spanish) not to wash my dishes in there. Nasty! Wolverine was sooooo good. I loved the movie. Answered questions from the other movie. Then when the Museum started again, James decided we needed a heart to heart talk. Oy!

Well, he is just concerned that when the time comes I won't want to move in with him. He wants to get a house, but wants to make sure I plan to go with him. He also wants to make sure I am comfortable with the fact that he wants to marry me in the future. He said he will ask with the time is right, but wants to make sure its something I see with him.

So it was a good one, and a difficult one at the same time.

We are all through cleaning up. Everyone wanted a BBQ and to swim so we stayed here and made a happy time with family. I sent all the left overs home with everyone. So now boyfriend and i are looking at each other like what's for supper!
