Not always. I once lost close to 50 pounds, and the girls were still there. So even though I could fit into the cute shirts button up shirts, I couldn't wear them.

I went spray tanning once, it was fun. My friend was in the stall thingy next to me & Sir mix a lot came on, I like big butts....

I still need to work out my calendar, but it looks like most things are in the evening so I can just leave work early. I'm thinking I will take Thursday off so I can join in the shopping too!!

My legs are white too! I'm thinking about starting to use the Jergens tan lotion, so it's gradual.

I've seen that. I'd need to use it for a year though before you'd notice any changes in these pale legs.

Oh yes, we do have tanning salons. I'm so white I can last maybe THREE minutes before I have a red butt I did the spray tan once too and I turned orange. Yep, not supposed to happen, but for me, nice and orange. Very beautiful

Very good advice Dawn. And you are right. I always think everyone around me, all my friends, are just lovely. But just not myself. I guess it's true we are always much harder on ourselves.

I was looking at the first two dresses today - very cute! I'm deciding whether I'm brave enough to wear a dress or not (I do have pastey white legs - not for public viewing!!)

Spanx = Some of them are a little bizarre looking (and no way am I going to try and pee with them still up - don't care if there is a hole there )

Not only do the Jergens and other natural tanning lotions work, but you can also buy this stuff at target that is great for spraying on at the last minute. It doesn't tan you, just makes you look good. Sally Hanson - you want a light one as it is darker than you'd think. Maybe $6-7
I've done the tanning salon once and hated it - you breathe in that stuff. It's better to have it hand sprayed on if you can find a place - or as Wendy says, do it yourself.
