With 2 different use years how difficult is it to use both contracts on one reservation?

Would be two separate reservations. Can’t merge across memberships. Best you can do is ask them to mark as an ongoing reservation so you don’t have to switch rooms.

Otherwise you can transfer points from one to the other and book from one membership.

It’s like you are two different owners. To use together, you have to transfer.

You are allowed only one per UY, in or out. Once transferred, points still have all the same rules and you may or may not see them on the dashboard.

If it’s an occasional situation, it can work. If it is regular, then it makes more sense to do what it said already. Book each part on its own and ask them to note it’s a continuous stay

They can’t merge reservations across memberships. We do this a lot and have yet to ever not been in the same room.

I have this also, but since I always do split stays it is not an issue. Book a reservation with one contract and book another with the other contract that is back to back.

I book 2 separate reservations to run consecutivly in the same type room in the same resort. Then I call member services to have them mark it as one reservation. I have never had to switch rooms.

I think you meant ‘Can’t merge’?

You could transfer points from one membership to the other. That way you can book as a single reservation. Otherwise you have to book 2 separate reservations that run one right after the other. You then call MS and ask them to note them as a continuing reservation. There's still a possibility that you will have to move but they try very hard to keep you in the same room. However, I would prefer to do the point transfer from membership A to B if possible.
