Are you talking about the deal we got for $55 a night with the free buffett? I know there was a code and the dates are limited. Saturday night for us was too high so we're staying downtown for one night. We'll be there May 9-14. I'll look in DH's files when I get home to see what the code is.

I just got home. The Orbitz deal has some stiffer cancellation penalties in case of any problems, so I think the extra $25-$30 per person is worth the flexibility.

Btw, I have had the frozen hot choc at Serendipity in NY last summer. It wasn't all that, to us. Our table didn't finish ours (6 people, 3 bowls). Now a Ghirardelli sundae sounds de-light-ful.

BTW, am typing this on my new hard drive - for $150, a computer place replaced the hard drive in my old Mac powerbook. They couldn't get the data transferred but said that a recovery place could. They said try Best Buy geeks... anyone ever use them?

Hi Stacie! I think you mentioned at Ariel's where in Africa, but I was finding it hard to concentrate. Was it Uganda or Rwanda?

The only thing the computer guys would be getting is my hard drive, which is out of the laptop. I need some cheap place that can do recovery. The quote from the fancy, high-security clearance, gov level place is $1000.

The laptop itself is all workin' great, with a brand new hard drive- am typing on it now. If anyone sees Callie, tell her thank you for helping me at the disaster stage.

How could you miss that ring?!!! It's HUGE.... HAH...

I think I have some where you can see the ring, let me check. I wore it every day but one. Now my DD has stolen it from me, so I'll have to steal it back. It's a bright blue ring, that I think Donna said she got from one of those shops near POTC.

Yeah you should. Get your stamina up and start hydrating. The trick is a drink for a drink. Every drink you have, have a drink of water. Helps for the next day.

I will be there 4/15-4/18. We are going to see his kids and they will be staying with us one of the nights, so I don't want that to be the night we are out. As soon as I talk to him, we need to plan it.
