Anyone watch the Sunday night Disney movies in the 80s? I just watched The Bride of Boogedy and then Mary Poppins. When I was little Boogedy scared me so much that I wouldn’t go down our basement for days and even after a few days I would run like crazy if I had to go down there. Oh the memories my older sister and I had a routine on Sunday of taking baths and then settling in to watch the nights movie with mom gosh it was so long ago, but I remember it like yesterday. Back in those days Michael Eisner had hair …and I remember he introduced every movie with Mickey and sometimes the gang. I wish they would release some of these movies on DVD (sprinkles pixie dust). Oh well just wanted to share an old memory.

I remember.....but it was more like the 70's. My older brother used to make me yell "hi Tink" into the TV when she used to fly by in the beginning. Oh, the age of innocence. I had the same schedule as you, bath and PJs and watch Disney, the Wonderful World of Disney.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Gotta call my brother tomorrow and have a laugh with him.

<font color=navy>I remember those days - but perhaps I'm thinking of the 60's?

The two that have always stayed with me were

Pablo and the Dancing Chihuahua - 1967- about a little boy and his dancing chihuahua who run away to find his uncle

Legend of the Boy and the Eagle - 1968 - A story of an Indian boy who was taunted when he was young, and if I remember correctly, he longs to fly free. He ends up climbing a huge cliff, up to an eagle's nest, and jumps off the cliff and turns into an eagle.

The Wonderful World of Disney,
Sunday nights, 7:00 p.m.
Couldn't wait for Tink to fly across
the screen and then to see what
was on!
My favorites were the "documentary"
type films - remember the Yellowstone Bears?
And the bear cubs???
I wish they'd show them again,
kids would love it......

I remember Sunday nights as Disney night in the 60's, we had a BW TV then, when we finaly got a color TV my brother and I couldn't wait to see Disney, at the opening they would show the castle and fireworks and then to see it in color. One old movie that comes to me is I think the name is Tobby Tyler joins the circus, the Castaways.
