I especially loved all the pics from the 70's and early 80's. I had a ton of pics like those, but they all were destroyed in a house fire at my Dad's house in 1996, robbing me of revisiting memories of WDW back then, as well as being able to see pics of me as a child with my Mom, who passed away in 1995, as well as some other more distant relatives who are no longer with us, who also went with us to WDW in those days.
Seeing these images brings back memories I had not recalled in 20 years or more. I am trying not to break down crying here at work.
I still have one of those plastic shopping bags like the couple with the matching outfits. I found it in my Mom's shopping bag stash - you think it may be time for her to clean out her drawer????
Someone else noted how many of the pics from the 70's showed more adults than kids, which is the opposite of what you see now.
Another thing I'm noticing from pics in those days is how differently people dressed. I'm not referring to just style, but in the amount of clothing. Notice all the women wearing skirts with fairly high heels, or long pants. Men were even more likely to wear long pants than shorts. Also notice all the long sleeve shirts! Ouch. I realize some of these may be wintertime photos, but it was warm enough for at least some people to wear shorts. The percentages of people wearing shorts these days is probably at least double the percentages from those 70's/80's pics, even in winter.

I can't remember much from when i went as a baby, but I do remember those strange looking little things in Mickey's Starland that spouted out little puffs of water at you. (along the lines of the leap frog fountain @ EPCOT)

Are you talking about that MGM sign w/Mickey on it? That's at the entrance to the Animation Courtyard section of the park - it's to the right of the Sorcerer Hat
