....EEEWWWWW!!! Not TOO tacky.....

Thanks to all for the info:thumbsup2

i was there in the july of 97 and the hercules parade was on then. and we had not seen the movie yet, so we did not even enjoy the parade, 'cause we had no clue!!!!

i totally agree!!!!!!

I think my Hercules pics and the castle cake were both taken in September 1997, during the 25th anniversary celebration year and 3 months after the release of the movie.

From 1988.. POTC used to have a picture taking area at end of ride that you dressed up as a pirate and took pictures.

What year was the Hercules Parade??

I was there is October of 1997. It was there then. I was there also in October of 1998 and I don't remember it being there then, but I will double check back through my pictures. So I guess it was just for 1997.?????

It was replaced by the Mulan Parade in '98.

OMG! I have a ton of those pictures!! I should scan them & upload them.
I was very teensy when they were taken.
I have one where I dressed up as a mermaid. :goodvibes

Ok...the quality is crappy, but it is before my fiance and I got the "good" camera...and before we were engaged for that matter. 2002...right after we graduated from college.

OH MY - My kids would be in SEVENTH HEAVEN if they could meet Scat Cat and his band of Alley Cats!!!!!!!! - who am I kidding! I would be too.:cloud9:

You have made my day!!!! :cheer2:

How long did Mulan run? Wasn't it replaced by the Toy Story parade?

There was a Toy Story Parade, but it didn't replace the Mulan Parade. My first MGM trip was in '96, so this is all the info I currently know about MGM parades. I know there was an Aladdin Parade sometime at MGM, but I'm not sure if there was anything in between the Aladdin and Toy Story parades. The Toy Story Parade debuted in '95, the same year as the movie was released. It was replaced by the Hercules Parade in summer '97, which was replaced by the Mulan Parade in summer '98, which was replaced by Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade in Oct. '01, which is being replaced by Block Party Bash (an all-Pixar parade) in March '08. Phew! Hope I answered your question!

The Fairy Godmother looks REALLY gloomy today. ;)

Seriously that looks like a great CM is playing her there, she looks like she really enjoys what she's doing. :)

And yes that is the SkyWay that I loved!
