i am trying to post a pic bear w/ me

You need to copy the code that is between the [IMG*] [*/IMG] ---but it will not included the * that I added so that the message board won't try to post it as a picture

Here is what it should look like (again without the *):

Thanks I have 2 more and I will try. I spent a lot of time trying. Clearly not computer savvy.
Anyway, DH & I met Charlton Heston at Disney MGM in 12/95. He was having a book signing for [/In The Arena].

Here is an old post card I found online. I thought I would share it. It's from the worlds fair with the "small world" attraction.

Hi everyone! I am in possession of my grandparents photo albums and they have tons of pics from the 70's and 80's that I need to get scanned in. So, as soon as I do that I will come back and post them!

Would someone be able to tell me how to post the picture big though? I used photobucket and just copy & paste the IMG address but this is the size they turn out to be:

The only advice I can give is that if you're scanning smaller photos, that's the size they'll come out if you scan them on a full page scanner. If you crop the selected area on your scanning program (ie, only scan the photo, not the whole page), it should come out much larger. This may vary by the type of scanner you have though. But normally on photobucket, the pictures come out initially the size they were scanned (or uploaded for digital pics - which is usually much larger).

I don't have any picture to post just yet still trying to convert slide's to picture's and then import them.. LOL But it is really sad to see that RC really went to crap.. What would be nice is that they decide to revive RC and just close it off from the lake and have it just be regular water.. To tell you the truth I would rather go to river country than either TL or BB.. I just love how the water park made you think you were in the middle of the woods.. But I think they had the greatest water attractions for any waterpark at DW... I really wish they would bring it back..

I am here to share my old pictures of Disney!!

http://www.flickr.com/photos/dulc1/sets/72157622208909016/

My first trip was in 1976.I was 2 yrs old. and have made many many trips since then...
I guess since Polaroid film was expensive back then pictures were few and far between but my parents got the ones that matter most :)
I don't know what years they all because they failed to write any information on any of the pictures.
The newer looking ones of me and the other 2 kids were trips we took when they came *my cousins* from TX for the summer. So we were older and those were with a film camera..LOL
Does anyone know where the one was taken of me in the room with the statues of Mickey and Minnie?
And the one with the horns? I can't figure out where that is at either. We only went to Disney except one trip to Marineland but I believe I was older when we went there.I can't figure out where it might have been from.
The Minnie Mickey and Pooh bear I still have today :) :goodvibes:goodvibes
It is funny seeing my Daddy smoking outside of 200000 Leagues Under The Sea.Not that I promote smoking but it shows how times have changed.
I custom make outfits for DD to wear to the parks and I see my Mama did the same for me.The "overalls" have pooh bear on them.I have Mickey sandals on in some of the photos too.

Thanks for sharing all of the Disney photos of the past!! And glad that I have some to share too :)

wow! these are great pictures. all those late 70's to the mid 80's were my childhood! i'll have to go thru my albums. gonna have to take digitals of the albums, our scanner died awhile ago. i know i have pictures of the "heads" in epcot. i thought i was the only one who remembered those!

also remember riding the skyway in '95. the only time i ever rode it (i hate heights!) i have a few pictures from that ride i can share.

i also remember spending many a time at river country! i was little and went on one of the big slides. i can still see my dad practically walking on water going OH !##$&*! trying to get to me. LOL my grandparents went within the 1st year of WDW opening. we have the ticket book and if i remember correctly, there wasn't anything torn out. i really need to put this all in an album now!

the outfits are great in the early day photo's. i'm pretty sure i have a bunch with fun outfits in them ;) and i know there are pics of the electrical light parade. even before i saw this thread, i had hubby make the song a ring tone for me. every time it starts to play, i go where's that's coming from? :rotfl:

so after dinner, i will go hunt photo's down. hubby can watch son tonight :)

You know, looking back thru all these great old pics I can't help but find myself wishing I wasn't the good little kid who stopped and let people take their pics all these years. Maybe I might have been able to spot myself in a few of them otherwise. :-)

The funny thing from seeing those pics, I can remember the old horse-drawn trolley down mainstreet.....Remember how you knew a parade was coming when you saw them throwing the rubber "fillers" into the tracks going down the street.....And when after you didn't see the old horse-drawn trolley much anymore on main street, those rubber fillers started to be regularly spotted in front of various attractions as stroller parking.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.... I'm too young to feel this old!
