I was thinking it would be so fun to be something from one of the old tv shows like Mrs. Roper from Three's Company or Endora from Bewitched. Something funky.
I dunno. It's fun thinking of all the different options though. Keeps me occupied. :rotfl2:

Very cute idea......I love it! We always try to do unique or different ideas for Halloween. I really like the idea of something from an old t.v. show.

Thanks Miss CheryL!:goodvibes

Hey Lindaaaaaaaa.. just a few more days!!! Can't wait to see you and cheryL!

Hello, everyone!! I'm just finally coming back online for more than a nano second since this last weekend. Had Star Trek movie, baseball, garage sale, Mother's Day, DH's illness, my illness, and regular life happening since I last visited. I'm all caught up with the posts, now, though.

I can easily be encouraged to dress up in some sort of costume. I've done a "mock" costume the last couple of years by putting on witch makeup and wearing all black and witch hat. I'm interested in doing more, though.

Since Friday, May 15 is rapidly approaching, is there anyone who doesn't have an AP that would like to coordinate with me to get tickets to the Trick or Treat? I can use my AP, and if they limit the number, I can use Zoe's too. I'd hate for someone to miss out on getting tickets because they sell out. There's no discount, but at least we'd make sure you had a ticket.

I'm excited about everything, including Miss Sally's bday and Beth's bday!

Is Friday May 15 the first day that tickets go on sale for AP holders? I must have missed that bit of info!

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ParTy Weekend... Birthday's Galore! How wonderful that old friends and new friends get to meet and share in the happiness!:grouphug:

Heather.... Please add Maryjo and her daughter Kelly to the list for my mom's birthday per this pm.
Mary Jo said:
Hi Dawn!

That would be great. Put two down, and when I get home I'll ask Kelly to confirm (I'm in Orlando right now).

I'll put it on my calendar. :goodvibes

Ooohh and i finally got your package sent off.. :yay: i'm so happy it's on it's way. Thank You for the beautiful job you did on our shirts for Mouse Adventure.. i loved them! They were Beautimous!

Good. Loonette scares the crud out of me. Taylor had one of those dolls when she was younger, and I hated the way it looked at me.

Ooh, funny! Loonette and Molly, a clown and her dolly........... :rotfl:

Yay! MJ's coming to Miss Sally's b-day bash!:woohoo:

And speaking of packages, Michelle, did you get mine?
Thanks again for being so kind and sharing with me.;)

I cannot wait for our evening on 5/20, Dawn. It's my last DL splurge until fall. I may visit a Sunday or two here and there, but no full weekend visits or fancy lovely meals until Sept. The summer is too expensive and crowded for me.:guilty:

Oh, and I am SO EXCITED to hear all the details of your Napa Rose Cooking School Adventure. I am sure it will be fabulous.

And girls, I am so glad we have 5 months to plan out our costumes (or non-costumes!) since we change our minds everyday - ha!princess:I really will do whatever the group decides, it will be fun no matter what.

We do seem to change our mind every day about the costume issue.

Quick question.....I am planning on getting my tickets tomorrow....where do I do that? Online? Call? What? Never done it before.

Hey ladies!

I think there's a really good chance the family and I will be joining you for a few of the activities that weekend - if they manage to retain the guy we just hired to be our weekend coverage!

We are definitely looking into the Halloween Party. It will be Zoe's first DL one. She went to the MK one 2 years ago.

Thanks to Dawn for inviting my family to participate!:woohoo:

Weird, I did send you a PM that's so weird. I did get it, thank you very much.

And Yay about MJ and Kelly coming with us!

Hi whoever is still up this late or maybe it's Good Morning to you! :lmao:

I'm of the mindset that Halloween is a great opportunity for creativity, for fantasy, to be all that you secretly want to pretend to be for a night. So rather than have a lineup of Tee shirts (which we'll have next Feb), I'm for each person picking whatever they want to wear. If teams want to form around a certain theme (like a ghostbuster and a ghost for example), that's fun.

OKay, cool! Now that Halloween is so much more popular than it ever used to be, it's easier to find a good selection of costumes in a variety of sizes. ::yes::
?

Very true. Or you can make it or put it together from things found in a closet or a thrift shop.

I think that's a great idea!

So I had a fun day with Stacie lee and her daughter and three of her friends. The park had light attendance today maybe because it turned out it is a grad night tonight. So Dl closed at 8 (it wasn't even fully dark yet!). But it was just as well because Stacie had driven half the day!

I got to ride the Nemo sub for the first time (why no mermaid?), but my highlight was doing Buzz with the Mistress of High Scoring herself. At one point in the beginning (she had a bad gun, btw), I was actually higher than she was! This was in the first room. Then I looked over and suddenly she had an extra 100,000 points!!!!
:scared1:

I am going to have to find some time to practice online. ;)

The weather was warm but not terrible, but it does make you more tired when it's 78 or so. Of course it cooled down fast by the time we left the park.

It was so much fun catching up with Stacie. And one of her daughter's friends had not seen Dl for 8 years, so it was fun to see the park through his eyes. Oh, and another Disboarder (male) noticed Stacie's green Mickey keychain and the HD Mickey and introduced himself! That was a nice first. :goodvibes

I have her on the list now! :thumbsup2 Your Momma is on the way to one heck of a birthday party. :goodvibes Thank you so much for sending me a little package. You are too sweet!

Nancy, I'm so glad Dawn told you to join us. The more the merrier, I just want to make sure that if anyone is lurking, they know that we are not a 'by invitation only' group. We are open to any dis lady who would like to join us! Nancy, if you go to the party, are you going to dress up? It seems that we are split in half between costume wearers and t-shirt wearers. I haven't decided where I land yet!

So, who all is buying their tickets tomorrow? I'm not sure how to do it Stacie, I think it was through the AP site though. I'm not an AP holder, so I'm clueless.

I now have 3 trips to DLR planned. In Feb, I thought the Girls' Only trip was going to be my only chance. I'm so glad it wasn't! :woohoo:

How much did she pay you to throw out the 'bad gun' line on here? :rotfl: I always get a bad gun. :thumbsup2

I like Beth's retro costume idea also. I wonder how hard it would be to find a 'Hairspray' type costume? I love that old time retro stuff. :cheer2:

REALLY! I saw she had a bad gun! I've ridden with her before when her gun was better....

Ooh, a Hairspray costume is great! I bet you could find that - certainly in Hollywood you could. You can wear a tee shirt any old day in DL. You can only dress up once a year.

Stacielee is at DLR, so I am just stepping in and taking over where she left off. Can't let us fall off the first page you know.
