Yes, that's exactly what I mean. I have to do some research online to find the exact look we want, but that sound pretty close!I totally get what you mean. Hit the thrift shops and goodwill. You will find great things there. I one year found this totally flowy gauze dress at a thrift shop for a hippie costume. It was natural looking fibers and looked really real. Got it for a few bucks. I had tons of funky peace jewlery and stuff, a leather head band, and done. It cost me less than ten bucks.
This past year I did the hippie thing again with James. We both got tie dye shirts, and wore ratty jeasns that we had. I put some peace sign patches on mine. He took an old jean jacket of mine, ripped off the sleeves and put patches on the back. I had some birks that I wore. I will post a pic of that later when I get home.
If Noelle is looking to do the real natural hippie, I have a pair of sandals that she can have from the Hippie dress that I wore. I don't have the dress, but I kept the sandals. They are hand made from leather and look like someone made them in a commune. Ill take pics and post them later too. I wore them once, and that was it. They look great for hippie costumes, but I had no need to wear them again. But were too cute to toss. They are hers if she wants.
Sure, I'd love to see a pic of the sandals. I'm not sure what size she wears..... oops. I guess a mom should know that sort of thing.

So none of the adults want to dress up??

Well, fine. Be that way.
