Olaf Magic Shot

We just got back from our trip. One of the photographers took our picture with Olaf on the bridge. I had the old photo pass plus and am currently waiting for my disk to come in the mail. once it comes in I will post it for you guys. I also had another photographer take a picture of me with the tink wings in Norway. I can post both if any one wants to see them.

Yes, please post both! We'll be at WDW in 12 days and I would love to get both of these shots! Thanks!

I wil do my best. The disk is supose to arrive within 7 days. I just sent out for it yesterday. They never sent any confirmation to my email like I thought they might but I printed out my confirmation number. As soon as it arrives I will post it imediately. The advice I was given is to ask any potographer you see. They are supose to carry a manual with them. There actually was quite a few photographers at Epcot when we went. Good luck guys and enjoy your trip!

As far as we know it is only in the front part of HS and only a few photopass people know how to do this one, so just keep asking till you get one that knows how to do it.

OMG! This is awesome! My daughter has been wanting to meet Olaf and I've told her we can't. So this will be the next best thing! :cool1:

I love these!! I intend to try to get as many magic shots as possible, but I am so afraid that I am going to be overwhelmed by everything that I will forget to ask. Sounds silly, I know, but I have so many things I want to remember when I am there with my family!

Thanks for sharing.

Anywhere on Hollywood boulevard will do it. Or should be able to.

It is also in Epcot as well because that is were ours was taken. I have a feeling that all the photographers at at all the parks probally have the same program on their cameras I just think not all of them know how to do it. The photographers are supose to have a manual on them in case they have questions. You could always ask them to refer to the manual.

My husband said that it doesn't need to be a photographer with a tripod. So any photographer should be able to do a magic shot. You just might need to ask if they don't offer first.

Thank you so much!! Good to get the info straight from the source :thumbsup2

My daughter was a CP photopass photographer last year. The PP photogs not on tripods take the magic shots. The tripods are set up for the icon shots. Without tripods can manuever to best set up the magic shot. At least that's the way it's set up to work. I've had a number of PP Photogs not on tripod say they could not take a magic shot. Daughter said they either had a technical problem with camera or they did not want to fool with taking a magic shot.

Thanks for the photos and tips! I only have a few magic shots from past trips and assumed it was certain photogs at certain locations who just magically did them. . . If I'm interested in magic shots should I just routinely ask the photographer if they can do any?

Thanks for sharing the tips & photos! My favorite photo from our April trip was the only magic shot we got - my 2 yr old daughter with Tiana's frog in hand. I love it and can't wait to do more of them during our November trip!

Yes. If you really want magic shots and have time, definitely ask around. You will be able to get more magic shots. What we do is: when we encounter a friendly photographer with no line, (and we have time), we will ask for magic shots.
