Is there a walking path from OKW to Downtown Disney?

Thanks!

Sort of. There is a bike trail that makes it all the way over to DTD by Saratoga Springs, but I don't know if it's open to pedestrians. Actually, I'm not even sure we were supposed to go that far with the bikes, since it did cross through the golf course a bit. We couldn't quite tell.

That being said, it would be a looooong walk. It was about a 15 minute bike ride and we were going at a good clip, so I'd say it has to be at least 3-5 miles or so.

There is a walking/cart trail that goes from behind building 55 and follows the canal all the way to the parking lot to CDS. You can also veer to the left over a golfcart bridge and end up at SSR. The walk will take you about 15 minutes to the CDS parking lot. It is not lighted at night though, so don't take it after dark. There are also pontoon boats that run every half hour between OKW and SSR and DTD.

I would take the boat or bus. Both are very fast. You will do enough walking everywhere else!

Thanks for the responses! I'm training for the WDW half-marathon in January and was thinking about what a beautiful run from OKW to DTD it would be in the early mornings when we're there next month.

Thanks again!

From the beginning of the path near building 55, it's 0.93 mile to the water tower at House of Blues.

I did This Report seven years ago, but it still links to some of the other reports. The links to the photos don't work any more, and of course the old HTML codes are no longer valid.
