Can someone please tell me what type of amenities are provided in the STUDIO rooms - the member handbook says it includes paper plates and plastic utensils - does this include forks, knives and spoons?

Also, are bowels and cups/glasses included? We will have young kids who love instant oatmeal / cereal for breakfast!!!! Also, for us adults who drink coffee - are mugs included in the room????

How about sponges and dish detergent?

Also, if anyone can include some things they wished they packed but didn't - please let me know. We will be leaving on Saturday and I just want to make sure we have everything we need.

Thanks for your help!!!

You get paper plates, bowls and plastic utensils -- pretty much the same as you get in from the on property fast food restaurants. I think you get 4 "real" glasses and 2 "real" coffee mugs. You can request additional mugs and glasses from housekeeping. Paper goods are replenished on trash & towel and cleaning days. If you expect to be using a lot of paper goods, or would like plastic bowls, you might consider throwing some in the suitcase or adding them to the shopping list. You do get a sponge, small bottle of dishwashing liquid, paper towels and a coffee start up.

Sponges and liquid dish soap are included.

You should have an assortment of paper bowls and plates, as well as plastic knives, forks and spoons.

There should be 4 water glasses and 2 coffee mugs. If you find your unit is short on any of these items, call housekeeping. If there are more than two people that drink coffee, ask housekeeping for more mugs.

For studios, I generally pack a paring knife and a serrated edge knife. You may also wish to bring laundry detergent, if you'll be using the washers and dryers (they are near the pools)..or there is a vending machine with single load boxes of Tide available.

LOL, thank heavens it's "bowls" and not "bowels". Don't mind me, I just was laughing at the typo! :lmao:

I pack a swiss army knife, a small cutting board, and some Glad bowls with lids. I almost always make fruit salad, and we use the Glad bowls as cereal bowls as well as storage containers.

I really like that idea, Bobbi! I read it earlier on another thread, and I thought it was a great idea.

When we stayed last weekend, we had one paper plate and a handful of forks, so I called housekeeping and they brought a bag full of paper plates, bowls and forks / knives / spoons for us to use. There were four glasses and four mugs in our cabinet. Dish towel, 3/4 bottle of Palmolive dish soap, two rolls of paper towels, a sponge, three rolls of toilet paper and three boxes of tissues.
