I received a $10 per point price - 10% down 0% financing for one year today.

Once again, if 75-80% were going for this - Disney wouldn't be offering as much.

They lowered the extension price from $15 per point to $10? That is pretty big news. I hadn't heard that. I think at that price point they will get a lot of takers.

Went and got the latest card from Disney out of the trash - Mine says I have until January 31, 2008 to get the 0% financing and that I would need to put down 10% to get the $10 per Vacation Point developer credit with 0% until March 1, 2009

I think someone may have misunderstood the $10 reference. It also says "Remember, the $10 per Vacation Point developer credit is only available through February 29, 2008; afterwards the price will be $25 per Vacation Point." This card just arrived the other day.

Talked to my guide yesterday after reading this thread. He said the acceptance is more like 60% accepting and 40% not. That's quite different from the earlier post.

I'd be willing to wager that even that number is Inflated! We will never really know the true figure but I am fairly certain it is under 50%.

I would tend to agree, received my third mailer yesterday for the special financing thru Jan. 31. If they had an acceptance rate of 75 - 80% as stated by another posters guide I don't think they woul spend so much on mailers.
