OKW/SouthPoint rehab????

When I try to search for South Point I keep getting busy server message...so forgive me if this is an old topic. A while back I read that the SouthPoint buildings at OKW were undergoing some kind of construction/rehabbing. Anyone been recently who can comment on whether or not that is complete now? We are going in two weeks and hope to be in that area! THANKS!

Don't know what you mean by getting 'server busy' when searching for South Point. We were there a couple of months ago in bldg. 46. Any renovation would probably be building by building. Now the Millers Road area had the back section closed off for the last 3 days of our stay while they re-paved the road and parking area and I also heard they were using this time to fix the buildings up a little. That all the info I have on OKW renovations. I am sure they are always fixing or painting somewhere inside OKW...smjj

I was getting an error message saying the server was busy but I think it might be because I typed SOUTH POINT as two words...when I searched using all one word, I got some hits...but none that really answered my question so thanks for your response. I was there in Nov. and stayed in the Southpoint area...loved it so much we are hoping for that location again! Anybody been in the past week or two???

2 weeks ago only buildings 47,48 were being renovated. They had siding off the exterior and receptacles available for any refuse from the rehab. All other buildings in the South Point area were occupied and the pool was open. The roadways have also been recently rehabbed (also a couple of weeeks ago), so you should be fine for your trip.

I was in building 50 this past week and there were no signs of any major rehabs other than the buildings that Doc already mentioned.

Nothing this past week. The only thing being done was they resurfaced the area in front of Hospitality House, so the bus stop was closed there for two days. No big deal, except that we ended up walking to Miller's road from building 14 (right across from HH) a couple of times.
