anyone suggest some good building numbers at OKW? Convenience not important, just want to look at something pretty.

We stayed in building 13 in a 2 bedroom. It was across the street from Olivia's and everything else. We were in room 1324 and it had a decent view of a pond with a fountain.

We have stayed at OKw 2x and both times we were in the turtle pnd section. (I'm sorry I don't remember #) and we sat out on the porch looking at the golf course. it was very nice, except the one time I left the pattio door open and a duck walked right in the room, it took us 15 min to egt it to leave.:rotfl:

what do you like - water, woods or golf?

for water like building 18 and 55.

the gray area is the water.

the dark green with the flag is the golf area.

views are better higher up. remember that OKW does not have elevators except in building 62-64

how many floors are there? we are in a 2 bedroom. bldg. 44 & 45 look good. Def. like waterviews best.

I can't think of any bad views at OKW. Don't make a view a big consideration there. Decide if its important for you to be near the feature pool and restaurant or if you'd rather be away from it all but maybe near one of the quiet pools and base your requests on that.

2 to 3.

stayed in 45 and didn't like it - noise problems - stayed there again and loved it - same studio - the fan this time blocked the noise.

a 2-bedroom is in a better place - more in the middle.

what was the noise from?

There are no bad views at OKW. Just request a water view or golf course view if that is what you want. And you might want to request an area such as Old Turtle Pond, Southpoint, Millers Road, Hospitality House. Peninsular Road.

what was the noise from?

the buses and the golf tram that housekeeping and maintence use to get around the resort.

there is a slight hill so everyone was pushing the engine to stop at the stop sign in front.

the fan definitely covers the noise now. This was in a studio at the end of the building closest to the stop sign.

the 2-bedroom are more in the middle. So noise shouldn't be a problem.
