We have to fly in a day early (boo hoo) due to flight costs and was able to get a deluxe (non preferred) studio for one night. The next morning we transfer to BWV. We will be arriving around 5pm, want to go to Disney Springs for dinner, then check out in the AM and bring our bags to Hospitality House to transfer them to BWV. We've never been to OKW and are renting points (we are not owners, yet...). We don't have any mobility concerns - it's me, DH and DD8.

What is a good place to request for a room location? I was thinking near Hospitality house but that is not coming up. We may choose to walk to Disney Springs but boat back to OKW. So first choice would be minimal walking with our baggage, followed by minimal walking to Disney Springs.

choices I can pick:
Millers Road Area
Peninsular Road Area
South Point Road Area
Old Turtle Pond Road Area

thanks!

If a studio...a studio is a studio is a studio. If you want close to Hospitality, request Peninsular Rd or Miller's Road. Specifically, Buildings 27 to 29, 16 to 18, 62, 63 or 64.

Buildings 11 to 14 and 23 to 26 are part of the Near Hospitality category. It is a guaranteed booking category for DVC point bookings. If your rental is in that category, (it will say on the confirmation/reservation page) you should automatically be placed in one of those buildings. If your rental was not booked into that category (and I'm assuming it wasn't) then the buildings I listed in my previous post are good choices. Be aware that OKW does not have elevators, except in buildings 62, 63 and 64. The rest were built prior to changes in the Americans with Disabilities Act. But the stairs are pretty gentle. 1/2 flight, a large landing, and another 1/2 flight for each floor. Enjoy your stay.

If you want to be near the walking path to Saratoga Springs/Disney Springs, buildings 53, 54, 55, 56 are at the path start.
