Hello,

I have questions regarding OKW accommodations.

Right now we have reservations for a 2 bedroom villa. Today new Annual Pass Discounts were released for OKW. Unfortunately I was told by WDW that these discounts are only available for studios and/or one bedrooms....so I thought about it and it seems to me that a 2 bedroom villa is the same as a one bedroom and a studio, so if I make 2 reservations I should still end up with the equivalent of a 2 bedroom villa.

I was told by WDW that studios only have one queen bed and a sofa (yet 5 years ago when we stayed in a studio at OKW it had 2 queens). I was also told that you cannot have a studio and a one bedroom together, that they will be at opposite sides of the buildings (yet in a DVC book I have at home it
states about OKW "most two-bedroom accommodations consist of a connecting one-bedroom and Studio combination, while some are dedicated two-bedrooms.") We received the book this year from a Disney Vacation Club Sales person so I would assume it is up-to-date.

So....I guess I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I try to change my reservations to a studio and a one-bedroom so I can save close to $900.00, is it possible to have these rooms connected (or at least close to each other)? Has OKW changed so much that this is not possible? Do I call OKW directly?

Thanks for your help.:)

Studios do have 2 queen size beds...
I know the studios are on the ends of the buildings
most two bedrooms are dedicated so you will not get them
I guess there is a chance you could have a studio that conects to a one berdroom -- but I am sure they will put them close together if you request that --same building--

All studios at OKW connect to one bedrooms, and vice-versa. The problem may be in getting the two of them to be connecting with cash reservations.

Like with everything, it can be requested, but not guaranteed, unless the unit is booked as a two bedroom lock-off.

And yes, all OKW studios have 2 Q beds, no sofa.

What if you had booked a one bedroom and then the lockout which has two beds and the one bedroom has the sleep sofa in the living room. That is what we do when the family goes and it works just fine.

Thanks for all your help. I called the Passholder line this morning and got the AP discount on our original 2 bedroom villa reservation. Yippee!!
