OKW - price difference between US and UK.

Just took a look at the price difference between booking the Old Key West Resort two bedroom villa through the UK and US. The price difference, after exchange rate is $1000 USD for a 6 night stay. Why would this be?

They have special offers for UK, especially at OKW and SSR. Airfare is so expensive so they offer cheaper rooms to entice people to come because typically they stay longer. They also offer a 14 or 21 day ticket. They will even offer free dining with a room discount for UK, mostly at these 2 resorts.

As DebbieB said, OKW and SSR are often included in special offers for overseas visitors because these 2 resorts are large and don't fill up quickly. The cost of flights are offset by lower room rates and longer tickets (14 and 21 day lengths) and the FD in the UK offer is often CS rather than the DDP that is offered here. Offers in the UK also frequently have more constraints and aren't as easy to modify. So while the offers might cost less, there are rules and restrictions that make them less appealing than US offers.
