OKW pool slide....did it recently close again repairs?

Hey all!

I just read on another much smaller message board someone asking about the new pool slide at OKW and if they have fixed it and has it reopened?

Did it close after it just opened? Did something happen? Or is this someone who just has no idea that OKW only recently got a new slide to begin with and is confused? I hadn't heard anything here about it closing and since I usually hear it all here first, I'm more inclined to believe this person is confused and ill informed but ya never know until you ask....did I miss something?

I know the SAB slide recently reopened from its rehab. Perhaps someone was confused.

We were at OKW 2/21-3/1. Pool slide was open every day.

We just left on 3/4 and the slide was open, they did a small repair one day during that week but it didn't seem to affect the slide being open!

My cousins called me from poolside yesterday and the 7 year-old was having a blast on the slide!

Hmmm....sounds like this person must be confused. Maybe they thought OKW always had a slide and was closed for repairs while it was being installed.

It was open last Saturday. I'm not sure I totally like it. I was thinking it could use some "pixie dust" to make it sparkle in the sun a little. Seems kind of plain.
