OKW Pool Question

We just returned from a 3 night stay and were surprised to see that the pools are only open 10-10. I thought all Disney resorts had pools that are open 24 hours (even if it's just the quiet pools) Sometimes we like a quick late night swim after a long day in the parks. Is it always that way?

I think they have signs with hours posted on them at almost - if not all the pools in WDW.

That being said, as far as I'm aware, you can use the quiet pools after hours as long as you keep the noise down as not to disturb anyone. The hot tubs however, do get shut off at the posted closing times.

We have used the pools well after 10 PM in all the resorts we have stayed at without ever having a problem we have gone in after 1 and 2 in the morning and no one has said anything to us. I think for the most part the operating hours are posted on the pools more as to what time they have a guard on duty.

The quite pools are right next to the villas so they should be off limits to anyone after 10. The main pool is not near any units so that would be a place to swim after hours if someone does not kick you out. There is nothing worse then trying to sleep and having someone thinking it is ok to swim near your unit. There has to be limits put on people. Most places have clear closing hours for their pools if they are near any units.
