OKW pool music

Here is a quick question for all OKW lovers out there.

In years past the pool theme music had a repetetive sound track with some Jimmy Buffet, Beach boys, and several others including Peanut butter and jelly fish sandwiches and the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

We did not go last year, but I remember the year before that the sound loop had changed to just steel drum music which I love ,but I kinda miss some of the old songs. Can anyone tell me what the theme music is recently? Or what would you like to hear? Also does the Rec staff still doing the sunset parties near the pool?

We will be returning home in 6 weeks and I am needing a little "OKW fix" to keep me going. I'll have my Ipod full of tropical music, but I would love to hear whats going on now, or what others think.

If I remember correctly back in December I think it was the steel drum Carribean style music. Was only around the pools in passing as it was alittle cool around Christmas time. Did hang out around HH and the docks on our departure day.

Mike, there was some Buffett playing and a lot of steel drum stuff. Can't remember what else. The best JB cd is "Songs You Know by Heart". That has all his top hits. Hope this helps. I really wish we were at OKW, but I'll settle for SSR. Too bad our days didn't overlap a little. Hugs...

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? Good grief!! I would never think to include this song in ANY sort of sound track! I was tortured as a young child having to play this on the piano repeatedly! (Sorry if I've offended any Lightfoot lovers!)

JUst got back and it was alot of Jimmy Buffet music, I wish they also played it louder as I could hardly hear it in the pool area, just the little boardwalk area.

On our last trip we still hear plenty of Jimmy Buffett, especially on the bus from the parks back to OKW
