I have a 1 bedroom booked at Old Key West and I am second guessing this. I am thinking that a suite at Art of Animation would be nice (2 bathrooms, new rooms) but my husband thinks AOA is for young kids, and we wouldn't enjoy it. My kids are 12 and 16 (boys). Any suggestions?

AOA is nice - love POP alot.

that say OKW is completely different - more relaxed.

think you and your husband want two different types of vacation.

you want action which AoA definitely is, he wants relaxed - which OKW is - you need to decide which type of vacation you really want. my opinion.

OKW has the boat to DTD, various activities including tennis and other sporting activities and the 1 bedroom is huge. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Can't speak for AoA looks cute but we don't have kids so no appeal for us.

As the mom of 4 boys, I will chime in on this. I say OKW. We have stayed there 2 times with the boys and have also stayed at SSR, WLV, AKV, BWV, and BCV. I asked where we should stay next spring break and they all said OKW. They love the main pool area and the proximity of the basketball and tennis courts, ping pong table and playground. They also like the Turtle Pond pool. It also has a playground and we spend time playing shuffleboard. They love it there.:)

My girls are 12 and 16 and they want to stay at AOA! The only bad thing is that it does not have a pool slide but we are going to waterparks so we don't mind.

just got back from a 2 night stay at okw and had a 1 bedroom, took our 2 grandkids whom are 16 and 17 ,boy and girl, they LOVED okw, it is soooo big they thought they were in heaven! okw is the way to go without a doubt! Made it a little hard for them to adjust going from there to our cabin on the fantasy, Im sure they wont want to be staying at any other resort now that they have been spoiled with so much space and such a beautiful resort. I can hear it now ' but nana we HAVE to stay at okw! lol:thumbsup2
