I will be arriving at OKW this Saturday 4/6 around midnight with my DS, 4. Do I need to call the front desk to let them know? We have never checked in this late before. We will not have a car with us this time - is it too late to request to be near the HH? Thanks for your help.

If I were arriving about midnight, I would probably let the front desk know, so they could put a note in my reservation. It wouldn't hurt to mention you would appreciate a room near the Hospitality House. Have fun!!

I'd definitely let them know. We arrived at 1:00Am one year everything went very smoothly at the front desk at OKW. Our only disappointment was the building we were assigned to however they were kind enough to switch us to another building the next day (this was prior to the change room charge). We had a car so transportation to the room wasn't an issue, but I think they have a cart that they can transport you in.

Definately let them know. Otherwise they might give your room away. THis happend to friends of ours in January when our flights were delayed by 12 hours.

definitely let them know an if you have any special requests, I'd follow up with the room controller about a week before your trip as well as the day of your trip.

On our last trip to OKW we checked in at 1:00 AM and made sure we let them know. It was no problem as they were expecting us.

I still would let them know but if you have reserved with points, I have been assured by Member Services that they cannot give your room away even if you do not show up at all. We will be flying in from the West Coast on the red eye with an 8am arrival. I went ahead and reserved the night before we arrive to assure that a room will be waiting for us. Members Service (two different times) was adamant that the room is committed to my points whether I am there are or not, even if I call and say I am not coming. It doesn't make sense to me that a room would be allowed to go vacant but that is what I was told. It is your room for your reserved stay and they cannot give it to someone else.

I actually asked about this. If you have paid for the night the room is yours. A late check in would not be a problem. I have checked in that late and it was pretty easy (No lines!) I have checked into other hotels as late as 6 am. (That was my only problem, but I explained that they could refund the guranteed room I had the night before or give me the key to it and they found a key!)
