Thanks for the list!

I thought I read somewhere here that there aren't salt and pepper shakers anymore. I've been collecting little packets to take with me.

We were at OKW last year when they came in and put in a new list of items that was in the kitchen. We were a little surprised at the changes but they told me that they took off the salt and pepper shakers because of concerns in using the open shakers from one set of guests to another. I thought that it may be to expensive to put in new salt and pepper shakers for each new guest. They also only put in two juice glasses although the list in some units said 8. They also only supply placemats on request because I suspect some of these items were growing legs and walking off.

Thanks! I will continue to collect my salt and pepper packets. :D

Another option for salt and pepper - in your grocery store near the salt and pepper they sell these little disposable containers of salt and pepper. They cost less than $2 and you could bring them with you and just toss them before you head back - or bring them home if you want.

The other thing we weren't sure of was sugar packets so we bought a box of individual packets and brought what we didn't use home with us.

just came back from a trip in a one bedroom. There were no salt and pepper shakers. There were placemats, located in the cabinet over by the sliders (dry bar?). We didn't find them until almost the end of our trip. Sugar and sweet and low was in a basket with 2 packs of coffee by the coffee maker. Not a lot, but enough for our one sweet and low fanatic (DH). And it was replenished at the 4th day cleaning. Everything else on the list was there, including a wine opener. Some items were brand new and hadn't even been open. Still the case as we didn't cook there much!!! ha ha.
