OKW, iBook and internet

The only thing I used my laptop for is email and Disboards. So basically I am illiterate when it comes to computers. I know that OKW has free internet. Is it wireless? If not, can I bring my Airport and provide my own wireless connection?

It is not wireless. That said, if you bring your airport all you'll need to do is plug in an ethernet cable and you will be ready to go. The villas have an ethernet cable which is usually located in a bag in the closet.

Airport is Apple's trademark for its wireless access point (802.11 b/g/n) and radios (built into Macs).

The work just fine with PCs, BTW.

Then you're going to have to buy, setup and learn to use a wireless router.

It's really a piece of cake. A linksys WRT54G or WRT54GS is literally plug and play.

You are right, relaxation is just a "figment of my imagination". DH is thinking: lounging on the patio, early morning strolls on the sidewalks of OKW. Lovely. He keeps forgetting that we are taking 4 young grandchildren with us.
