OKW has smoking areas in front of each building.

I just noticed this on the OKW map. Along with the designated smoking areas around the resort each buiding has a smoking area in front.

What are these like? Are they marked? Are there benches? If you're using the smoking area in front of the bulding are you on 'public display'?

As I recall, there's a little sign, with a bench or two, and it's sort of off so the side of the main entrance to each building. The landscaping should help, but it's not really private.

They vary a little based on the design of the individual building. AS the previous poster said, usually one or two benches with either one of those trash cans with the ashtray built in, or one of those pot like things with the tall slender neck. Not very private, it is likely some people will need to pass nearby or through the area to get to their villa.

As smoking threads tend to deteriorate very quickly, and it is a WDW-wide policy, not specifically a DVC policy, we do not allow smoking discussions on the DVC Boards, so I need to close this thread.
