I know the BWV did when we were last there. OKW has the same service, right? :)

ALL WDW owned-and-operated resorts have Resort Airline Check-In.

I didn't know that you could do this.

Can I use this even if I'm not using M.E.? (Renting a car)

How long has this service been available and can anyone staying in Disney World use this?

Would make returning the rental car quite a bit easier as well! :thumbsup2

Where is this done at the Boardwalk Villas ?

Resort Airline Check-In started in May 2005, at WDW owned-and-operated resorts (BWV is one of them). Only people flying a "participating airline" can use this service when leaving WDW for the airport, however. There is a "sticky" listing participating airlines.

You can use the Resort Airline Check-In service regardless of how you get yourself back to the airport. This resort-to-airport luggage handling is totally separate from DME. Please don't confuse this with the arrival leg of your journey -- when you arrive at MCO, the only way you can get your luggage automatically delivered to your resort is if you take the DME bus.

I was at OKW in Nov. with 5 friends...all of them were able to check in for the return flight at OKW and check their luggage but I was not (and I was the one who arranged the whole trip...go figure!). May have been because I booked each leg of my trip with a different airline so I was flagged for some reason. Since several of my friends were on my same flight home, one of them just added my bag to her allowed checked baggage at the resort so it worked out fine. But just a heads up!

You can also check in/get your boarding pass for non participating airlines just by asking at the guest registration counters.
