Okw Grand Villa

Could someone please tell me how many balconies in the grand villas? I'm wondering if there are balconies off of the bedrooms upstairs? Thanks, Kim

Just one huge balcony off the living room and master bedroom just like the 1 and 2 bedroom villas have. The upstairs bedrooms have windows to the parking lot side of the building, and are over 2 bedroom units below, so they do not have balconys.

Some of the GVs are on two floors, so the upper bedrooms have a balcony overlooking the living room!

All of the OKW GV's are on two floors and none of the upper bedrooms have balconies overlooking the living room. (None even have balconies.)

Some BWV GV's may have balconies for the smaller bedrooms, but those at OKW, SSR and HH do not.

Just stayed in one in January. There are 2 bedrooms upsatirs, and the hallway that runs between them has a half wall that overlooks the living/kitchen/dining area below it. I could liken it most to a "loft" type set-up. The bedrooms themselves upstairs had no balconies off them to the outside. The only balcony was off the living room and master BR...it was the same balcony...there was a door off the livingroom and a door of the master bedroom, both of which led to the same balcony.

So where did you get THAT misinformation?

I think Cruella was just being silly. The "balcony" overlooking would be the landing at the top of the stairs.

Saw the reference to the "huge balcony." We're staying in a GV in August for the first time...is the balcony for this unit any bigger than those in the 1BR or 2 BR units? Or was the "huge" just in reference to balconies at other DVC resorts?

Hard to say when you are dealing with OKW people. I think they just like to describe everything over there as HUGE, LOL!

We "OKW people" just adore our resort!!!!

Actually, I do not think the balcony size in the 1, 2 or 3 BR units at OKW are appreciably bigger than the balconies at comparable size units in the other DVC resorts. Maybe they are a smidge bigger, based on the slightly larger unit size, but I don't recall thinking that the OKW balconies were overwhelmingly larger.

LOL! Yep, everything at OKW is bigger! The balconies are the same for 1,2,or 3 bedroom villas, but some are rectangular and some are like half an octagon. Those always seem a bit larger to me than the rectanular ones.
