OKW grand villa availability

We are planning a trip with several friends next October and would like to get a Grand Villa at OKW...what do you think our chances are...we a looking at maybe the third week in October...tia

Book at your home resort at 11 months out (whatever will fit your group). Then at 7 months out (I'm guessing that OKW is not your home resort), see what you can get. October is kind of hard, though, with everything going on at WDW.

I don't know the probability, but we stayed at a grand villa at OKW and it was the best ever grand villa hands down. I'm not crazy about that resort (a bit boring for me)...but gosh...that villa was to die for. Huge.

It will be tough at the 7 month mark. Calling right at the 11 month mark would be your best bet if you own at OKW.

Like previously suggested, I would reserve at your home resort at 11 months out and then try for OKW at 7 months out. We booked at our home resort SSR at 11 months and then at exactly 7 months out was able to change it to a GV at OKW. This was for August so not sure what Oct will be like. Good luck!

October is going to be tough. We have always reserved our OKW GVs 11 months out for October. We've had success with getting OKW GVs even less than 7 months out for January and February, but not October or December.

We got one for the end of November, 2009. I think it gets harder the closer you get to Christmas. It is also getting harder since there are more members. You never know until you try. Good luck!
