OKW full in the summer?

Does OKW ever get completely booked up in the summer?
Im planning on staying there next August and since it isnt our home resort, Im wondering if it will be booked up by the 7th month mark.
From what I've read on this board, Im thinking my chances are slim at the 7th month mark for adding a stay at Hilton Head in late Aug. though.

I do not think you will have a problem booking OKW for next August at the 7 month mark. It's possible that you might have to use the waitlist for a portion of your stay, but IMHO, that is unlikely.

I agree that reserving an August stay at HHI at the 7 month mark could be a problem. My understanding is that 2 bedroom units are easier to book than than studios or 1 bedroom units, though. Since you never know until you call, I'd encourage you to give it a try if you are interested in staying there.

This past December we booked a 1BR at OKW, for the 1st week in July, at the 7 month window and had no problem getting it.

I was also wondering the same thing. Asked on these boards and was told it shouldn't be too difficult for next Memorial Day week at 7 months. Wish OKW had been our home. DH loves it there!

This Memorial Day weekend we booked a 2 BDR at OKW for 2 nights at exactly 1 days notice! Wanted to extend our trip a bit - no problem, the room was even ready at 11 am when we moved over!
