OKW - Can you see fireworks here?

Will be staying at OKW 8/3 to 8/9 - is it possible to see fireworks or anything else in the evening from your patio or balcony?

It probably depends on the night and on your location, but we were able to see the higher fireworks from Illuminations and the accompanying show when they were practicing the Epcot New Year's Eve show at midnight a couple of nights before they did the real thing. We were in building 23 on the end and could definitely hear the Illuminations music and commentary very clearly.

We had a partial view of the high Illuminations fireworks from buildings 26 & 28, second floor. If you went up to the bridge near building 23 that Doctor P mentioned you would probably have a good view.

We were in building 62 on the 3rd floor and saw them beautufully. We have also been in 28 and could see them partially.

I can never get myself oriented exactly right to know where I'll see them. But, it is possible and you've got some suggestions to start with. Sometimes you will see them from the "front" of your building but not from the balcony on the back. Also keep in mind that the hils of the golf course sometimes block a view but if you just move a little to the right or left you'll catch them. Of course, these aren't close-up views of the fireworks but they can be seen.

Standing on the bridge over the main pool and was able to see fireworks at a couple of the parks. We have had several rooms where we could see fireworks from our balcony, but I can't remember which buildings.

We just got back on saturday ) Dont think anyone mentioned that you can see the "New Years eve" fireworks at pleasure island every night!
