OKW & BWV Renovations

I've heard that OKW is undergoing some sort of room renovations, can anyone tell me what exactly this includes? I seem to remember sofas being replaced, but what else are they doing? Is this a full room renovation? We're staying in studios in December, could we get lucky and have a "brand new" unit?

Will BWV be undergoining any room renovations anytime soon? Have the villas ever been renovated? I'm assuming they may start renovations in 2006, after 10 years, but I'm not sure.

The renovation at OKW has been going on for quite some time. They actually always keep them up to date on a rotating schedule (replacing carpet, etc.) but within the last year have been changing to a new style sleeper sofa, installing new appliances and putting in DVDs in place of VCRs.

Chances are that even if it hasn't "just been done" you will feel that your studio is brand new. They do a terrific job keeping them looking fresh.

We were in a 2 bedroom (2814) on our last trip the end of June beginning of this month. The unit had the new appliances (very nice) and a new TV and DVD player (Phillips no more Sony's) The couches and sleeper sofa were still the old ones though and in that unit they really needed to be replaced. The loveseat was a little threadbare and one of the cushions on the couch had a little tear in it so we just flipped it over.

Last week at BWV, I did notice a few worn spots in the villa. The sofa in the studio was in need of being replaced, there were some stains on it, and a couple springs broken. Nothing major wrong, though.

I first stayed at BWV in December 2000, I remember they were doing renovations around that time, our room was freshly painted.

If you were recently at BWV then you surely saw that all the rooms around the quiet pools were getting new dishwashers, and that some of the rooms were also getting new couches. Renovations are done on a continuing basis, they don't ever stop.

Did see the dishwashers, but not the couches. We were down the other side (BW view), so I only saw them wheeling dishwashes around. Are the couches the same ones as before?

Also, our studio did not have a coffee table. What do the new studio coffee tables look like?
