OKW bus turnaround points, where exactly?

okay, i'm looking at the OKW map from the DIS...

where exactly are the bus turnaround points?

are they the places on the map where there is a perfect little circle?
it looks like building 20, 40, and 50 on the map.

is that correct?

but noise has also been reported - directly across from the bus stop - (you know when it speed up) 56, 19, 26.

by the same token, wouldn't a whole bunch of other buildings (in addition to the ones you mentioned) be noisy as well? like 23, 27, 32-35, 48, 52, and 53?

i think i even read someone complain about bus noise at building 55? which is why i was confused and wanted to post this question to ask what the exact buildings were that the bus turnarounds are at.

I have not stayed in the other building your mentioned

I have stayed in 55 and was not bother by the bus noise - now at night you can heard the fireworks from PI - but it is not loud (my opinion).

19 and 26 are both closer to the bus stop - I have stayed in 56 and it definitely had a problem - so 53 might too!

I also heard about complaints in 18 - but I have stayed there and it was fine for me.

I think even in a building close to the bus stop - it depends upon how close you are.

You need to walk OKW and see for yourself - on the map some places look really close - but when you see them they are not quiet as close as the map looks - does that make sense?

It is all relevant to what bothers you.

Bus noise does not bother us and we have stayed in the buildings that others have stated have "bus noise".

I think it will be impossible to find a building with no noise at all, whether it's bus noise, neighbor noise, lawn mover noise and my all time least favorite, power blower noise,

We have stayed in two of the buildings. It seem OKW has been aroung long enough that the trees and bushes have grown enough to block out most of the noise.

If hearing the bus bothers you stay away from building 19 and 20. I just stayed in 20 and we heard the buses every three minutes. A bus for the 4 parks, 2 water parks, the downtown bus and the OKW comples shuttle. I had a car so and wanted a quiet time so it drove me a little nutso. On the positive side if you needed bus transportation it would have been a plus. The bus stops near building 19 then turns around in the parking lot of building 20 and 21 so you hear from the busses braking and accelerating several times within a 50 yard distance. The bus also stops and turns at the hospitality house, at the turnaround near building 40 on Turtle Pond Rd and in the parking lot of building 50 and 51 on South Point Rd. It is my impression that the most noise is probably generated in spots where the bus stops and then shortly thereafter makes its turnaround and this happens near building 20, near building 40 and near building 51 and 52. I stayed on peninsular drive in building 27 once and never noticed the bus noise even though there was a stop fairly close by. I think it was probably because there was no turnaround at this point. Next trip I am going to try to get something in the loop containing building 23-26 or something at the end of the loops off Turtle Pond Road where the bus does not seem to go.
