OKW Bus Service???

I was just reading the WDW Unofficial guide and on page 122 in the unofficial tips section it says OKW runs limited bus service between noon and 6pm. I had not heard of that anywhere. Is it true? and if it is how limited?

We are considering staying there in the summer and DD, 2, needs her naps around 2pm every day so how difficult will this make it to get back to the parks? Thanks.

Buses at OKW run about every 15 minutes per park in the early morning and every 20 minutes until early afternoon when it drops to about every 30 minutes until about 5 or 6 when it picks up again.

We were at OKW last weekend for the first time and I will not choose to stay there again. The bus service was terrible regardless of the time of day. It was not unusual to wait 30 minutes for a bus either from the resort or to the resort.

We did like the resort, but not the transportation. If I had to stay there again, I would rent a car.

I've always found the OKW bus service to be on par with all the other WDW Resorts, having good days and bad days. And with Disney no doubt trying to save as much energy as possible, I'll bet all the resorts have a noticable difference in bus service from past visits.

A few years ago when we stayed a couple of days at POP, we waited nearly an hour for a DtD return bus.

Thanks for everyones help. I can wait 30 minutes, I have before at other WDW resorts. I was just concerned becuase "limited bus service" can mean lots of things.
