OKW Bus and Rope Drop Advice

Checking in this week and planning out Rope Drop strategies...

To get from OKW to HS for 8:30 rope drop, how early do the busses start? Imagine I want to be at HS no later than 8.

Also not sure where in OKW (1-bdrm) we're staying. I did not (yet) make any specific requests. (Should I?)

Can you see the bus schedule in the MDE app?

The MDE app will show you an estimate of when the next bus will arrive, but only when you are at your resort.
You may consider grabbing an Uber or Lyft over to Hollywood Studios. Uber and Lyft use the bus loop, which has its own entrance, for pickups/dropoffs, so they are not subjected to the traffic being allowed through the main toll plaza entrance.

Thanks Ross. Does bus stop pick-up order matter much at 7:30am? Will the busses be full before the final stop, thus having to wait for the next bus?

I don't know; I've never stayed at Old Key West. Again, to avoid all of the headaches that come with trying to catch a bus for rope drop, I would grab an Uber or Lyft. They are plentiful in the area at all hours, and it'll be a cheap, quick ride over to Hollywood Studios.
